The Opportunity
Our business is small enough for the individual to make a definitive contribution, and yet large enough to provide a great sales career experience. We are looking for a motivated sales team member to join our Cape Town-based inside sales team, focused on selling our product to companies in the Europe/Middle-East/Africa and Asia-Pacific regions.
The Person
- Meet and exceed assigned sales goals
- Demonstrate technical selling skill and detailed product knowledge
- Secure regular product demonstrations to sales prospects
- Assist sales prospects in successfully evaluating product functionality
- Maintain professional, responsive and consistent communication standards when interfacing with sales prospects, customers and partners
Minimum Requirements
- At least two year's experience in a product sales organization
- Degree or diploma preferable
- Driven to succeed
- Proven ability to close sales
- Computer literate
- Team player
- Customer oriented
Additional Skills Desired but not Essential
- Ability to speak multiple European languages
- Background or previous knowledge selling a document management solution
- Familiar with open source technologies

The Opportunity
KnowledgeTree is a leading business software vendor specializing in document management software solutions for small and medium business. With hundreds of customers worldwide, KnowledgeTree is a fast-paced and dynamic organization.
KnowledgeTree is seeking the best and most passionate Senior Software Engineer. He/She will be responsible for leading a high performance, agile team of software engineers. He/She thrives in a high-energy entrepreneurial environment, lead-edge technologies, and complex multi-disciplinary projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven past history of delivering excellent and innovative software
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving start-up environment with teams in multiple cities crossing many time zones
- Experience working with cross-disciplinary Agile/Scrum/XP/TDD teams
- A passion for Open Source technologies, both as a user and participant in projects
- At least 2 years of MySQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server development
- User interface development and design experience with be a plus
- Strong familiarity with Apache or Microsoft IIS
- Strong familiarity with internet technologies and protocols (for example, Apache, HTTP, Javascript, Phython)
- Strong familiarity with Linux/UNIXes or Windows Server
- At least 2 years of other development experience in one of the following C++, Java and Ruby
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
